Amala Skincare

I have an amazing skincare product I want to share with all of you. No, they are not paying me to do this, I did not get any free products, that would be kickass if I could though!

These amazing products are from a skincare line called Amala

I had a gift card for a facial at Woodhouse Day Spa in Plano back in August.  Ahh, I love me a good facial!!  And I'm gonna be honest, the only time I can afford the luxury of a facial is if someone gifts me a g.c. to a spa because let's face it, I work full time, am married with two young children, I don't exactly have all the time in the world for pampering these days.  Or the $ that is necesssary to afford it either, Beverly Hills housewife I am not. *sadface*

Of course the facial was wondrous and my skin was glowing for two weeks afterwards. The facialist gave me some samples of the products she used and a card with a list a mile long of the products she "recommends" I buy and use to keep up the routine for my specific skin tone. Well of course these products are uber expensive, honey I cannot afford a $68 moisturizer!  So I said "thanks but no thanks" and took the samples she gave me.  I have been happily using the samples ever since, 6 months worth and let me tell you, I am in LUUUURVE!

She recommended that I use the Purify collection which "Restores Balance, Clarity & Radiance" and she gave me a moisturizer and face polish from that collection.
Hello beautiful glowing skin!!
I will admit, in my teens and early twenties, it never occured to me to take care of my skin.  Maybe it's because I'm getting older, I will turn 30 in July, or maybe it's because I'm a mom and am boring now days, a nice dinner and a drink or two and I'm ready for bed so I can get my beauty sleep. Whatever it is, the past couple of years I have really been into trying new skincare and cosmetic products that are actually GOOD for your skin. Not just the Loreal over the counter crap that is $3 at Walgreens.  There is a reason it is $3 and it ain't good!

Which brings me to current day, I am all out of my samples and am itchin for a fix!  I talked my hubby into letting me purchase the Purify collection and I will be anxiously checking my mailbox for the next week until it comes in. I swear to you, my skin has been more firm, more smooth, my complexion is even and soft, LOVE IT!

Like I said, not being paid or given free samples, just wanted to share a new beauty regimen that I have tried and am currently loving.  Here's a little info from their website about their products:

"Nature gives us everything we need to look and feel beautiful. Our challenge is getting it from the soil to the skin without compromising the benefits or the earth.

We seek out high potency organic plants and custom distill them to ensure our ingredients retain their full therapeutic value. By protecting each plant's beautifying benefits, we're able to formulate extraordinarily effective skincare with proven results."
